MathPad is a calm, friendly app that helps children (ages ~5–12) practice math by hand — writing each digit with their finger, just like
on paper. It covers addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with no ads or accounts, and works fully offline.

Thank you for using MathPad. We built MathPad to be a safe, calm place for children to practice math by hand. Your privacy — and your child’s privacy — is important to us. MathPad is designed to collect no personal data at all.
The short version
MathPad does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Information we collect
None.
MathPad does not ask for, collect, or process any personal information. Specifically:

We do not require an account, sign-in, name, email, or phone number.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers.

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDKs that collect data.

We do not send any information from your device.

MathPad works fully offline and makes no network requests for the practice experience.
Information stored on your device
To make the app work, MathPad saves some information locally on your device only. This information never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.
This may include:

Your practice settings, such as the number of digits and question count.

Your handwriting and answers for the current session.

Your past session history and scores.
This data is stored in the app’s private storage. You can remove it at any time by clearing the app’s history within MathPad or by deleting the app, which will also remove all its local data.
Children’s privacy
MathPad is intended for children, including children under 13.
Because MathPad collects no personal information whatsoever, it does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
MathPad includes:

No external links presented to children during practice.

No data sharing with third parties.
This is consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation provisions for children (GDPR-K).
Third parties
MathPad does not share data with third parties because it does not collect any data.
The app does not integrate advertising networks, analytics providers, or social media services.
Purchases
Addition practice is free.
The other operations are available as paid in-app purchases. You can unlock the full bundle of the remaining operations, or buy each operation bundle on its own.
All purchases are handled securely by the App Store. MathPad does not receive, collect, or store any payment information.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how MathPad handles information, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above.
Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
